About the Hall of Fame
The Arkansas City High School Hall of Fame honors outstanding alumni who have made significant professional or volunteer contributions after graduation. Inductees provide real-life role models for students, build school pride and strengthen community ties, honor many paths to success, and celebrate service, achievement, and leadership. They reflect the pride and spirit of ACHS.

Induction Details

Two inductees each year: one local and one living outside Cowley County

Selection committee: staff, board, and community members

First ceremony: Arkalalah 2026
How We Honor Inductees
Inductees will:

Be recognized at a special Arkalalah ceremony
-
Be invited to speak at ACHS
-
Be featured in the Arkalalah Parade

Be added to a display at ACHS (digital or static)

Be highlighted across district communications (newsletters, news releases, social media)
Nomination Process
-
Submit a nomination online or with a paper form.

Include letters of recommendation (highly encouraged).

Committee review: a selection committee evaluates each nomination.
Nomination Criteria

Focus on post-graduation accomplishments (professional or volunteer)
-
Academic/athletic history may be noted, but is not prioritized
-
Posthumous nominations must include family representation
Donations are appreciated and may be directed to ACHS.
