Arkansas City Public Schools is beginning a strategic planning process and wants input from students, staff, families, and community members. Complete the survey by Sept. 18 to help shape future priorities and goals for USD 470.

Join Arkansas City Public Schools for Pawpalooza on Friday, Aug. 28, at Bulldog Stadium. Celebrate the new school year with the snake dance, activities, team introductions, performances, scrimmages, and the Booster Club Hot Dog Feed.

USD 470 families will now use Bound to register student-athletes for the 2026-27 school year. Before participating, students must complete both their online Bound registration and a sports physical.

SCK Health will offer sports physicals for ACMS and ACHS student-athletes on June 1, 3, and 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at SCK Health Urgent Care. Physical packets must be completed before the appointment.

ACHS music students represented Ark City with pride at the 5A State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival in Salina, earning multiple Division I (Outstanding) and Division II (Excellent) ratings. The top honors highlight student talent and the strong support of directors and accompanists.
