The Board of Education proudly honored ACHS seniors Luther Abrams and Isaac Pieper as 2025 Kansas Governor’s Scholars—an elite recognition for students ranking in the top 1% statewide.

To help keep students and staff safe, ACHS is now using the Securly Visitor Management System at the front office. Visitors going beyond the office must check in with a government-issued photo ID. The system will scan the ID and print a badge. Visitors staying in the office area do not need a badge.

Four ACHS students received scholarships from the Ladies American Auxiliary to attend Girls State in June 2025.

ACHS seniors took a big step toward their future during our first Enrollment Day at Cowley College.

A few ACHS seniors recently attended JAG-K Senior Day at the Kansas State Capitol, where they met with Rep. Bill Rhiley to discuss their career goals. The trip gave students a firsthand look at state government and supported JAG-K’s mission of career readiness and leadership.
