Arkansas City High School student artists earned 21 honors in the Scholastic Art Awards, including three Gold Keys that advance to national judging. The recognition highlights the creativity and dedication of ACHS students.

More than 150 Arkansas City High School seniors recently participated in mock job interviews with community volunteers. The event helped students build confidence, practice professional communication, and prepare for their next steps after graduation.

Ark City voters will decide the future of local schools on Nov. 4, 2025. Two proposed bond measures would improve safety, modernize classrooms, and expand early childhood education across USD 470 — with 30% state aid offsetting costs. Proposition 1 funds major additions at Arkansas City Middle School and districtwide upgrades, while Proposition 2 would build a new Pre-K Center (contingent on Prop 1 passing).
