Any student athlete interested in playing athletics in college should become familiar with NCAA requirements at www.ncaa.org. The NCAA requires 16 core classes from the areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies or World Language. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Division I Rules for Students Entering College in 2016 or Later | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Minimum core-course GPA of 2.30 required; | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Change in GPA/test score index (sliding scale); and | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
